Is there any other single person shooters that are similar to PK. If Dreamchatcher isn't making a PC version, I would like to find something else although I will probably continue to play PK from time to time.
I tried quake and several others in demo form and haven't found anything that meets the quality of play that PK provides. I did find an older game called "Will Rock" that was fun to play but found it to short. Halo Demo was okay and I was thinking of getting the full version.

I haven't found anything that's quite like PK. I tried the demo of Will Rock but found it a bit tedious. Just a Serious Sam clone. I don't think Halo 'feels' like PK but the vehicles are brilliant. Map design is a bit lazy, though.

If you want a change from PK's style of play then Far Cry, FEAR and Half-Life 2 are all exceptional, if you haven't played them already.

That said, I am enjoying SiN:Emergence, at the moment. The gameplay is more 'Quake 4 meets FEAR' than PK but it does have proper secrets to find, a highly interactive environment, maps that can be tackled in lots of different ways and a very flexible difficulty/stats system. Downside is that it's an "episode" and, consequently, short. On the other hand, it's cheap and has good replay potential. I'm on my third run through it. First to get used to the game, second to get all the secrets and now I'm playing on the hardest setting. Hmmm, sounds like PK http://dreamcatcherinteractive.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif .

Happy gaming.

thanks for your help. I think I'll try Sim. I did try the F.E.A.R demo and it wasn't to bad so I might give that one a go also. We should Start Bugging Varus to expand Hills. I enjoyed playing it and I go back to it quite often. It's also to bad that the Booh expansion was so short. It had so much potential. I actually felt cheated when i was done. :)

Condemned - Criminal Origins is pretty freaky.

Too bad you can't blow his head off with that crowbar.....I heard the game was good, but I like guns better than clubs and crowbars.....so I'm not sure if i wanna buy it.....

There aren't too many guns in Condemned, most of the ones you find don't have much ammo left and you can't pick up the ammo from the same types of guns you find.
It's more melee combat based.

There is a light on the sky!! I'm looking forward to this game (http://www.darkscorner.de/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=597&Itemid=1) from some PK-Developers! It's based on a tuned PK-Engine!!

@Darkinfinity: Thats exactly the same "NecroVision" game by "Farm51" , posted by hund_schraube 11/06/06 already (and first posted 9/06/06 by Farm51)http://www.dreamcatchergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27955

@hund_schraube: I played the Condemned demo and found it pretty freaky too. Verry cool that U can almost pickup everything and use it as a weapon.

Go one step further folks and check out: http://www.thefarm51.com/
Go to the Portfolio page and have a look at their screenshots there… these guys created my favourite Painkiller levels, Loony Park and Babel! They also made Lab, Abandoned Factory, Stone Pit, Docks, Leningrad and several MP levels. Whoohoo! :D
