Why do you say that? The only thing I found bad about the multiplayer is the lack of people playing and the fact that people would come and go and wouldn't stay long enough to get involved in the game.
I would much rather play it over a LAN with other people I know. It's not too bad that way.

No one is ever on and its not fun on single player the first time you beat it.
