can't get out of basement of the fathien palace in ulm

The door got shut behind me when i went through the door with the 4 levers. I've tried everything and cannot get the doorway out to open. Is there a cheat or simply something i am overlooking. Plz help me get out of the lower level. However i did get the other door to open and got everything including the chest plate, but i can find no way to get out.
