Galdryn's Horn quest

I have the quest to take Galdryn's Horn to the Chamber of Sprits. I've been told to "use the horn" there and then report back. Nothing happens when I try. Am I doing something wrong?

When you get to the chamber of spirits, there should be a bunch of hands. Walk up to each of the hands, and press shift, if it was the right one, galdryn's horn will be placed onto the hand, and it will be 'used'.
