Nope. I can't remember which game-version was used (1.00 or 1.35?), maybe PeTjA knows the correct answer. Surely many places are still reachable, but let's say rocketjump/grenadejump doesn't take You that high anymore...

Do you know if the map ceiling (tops) have been changed. I see Angdark hitting a top on Illuminati that isn't there now and he jumps over places I bump into the invisible ceiling on.

Sorry about the inconveniences (OMG, what a word :D), Uuber. As far as I know, people from the USA always had/have problems with the downloading from the server. Maybe it's the farness? Or maybe the provider limited the downloads for the users who are far? It works fine in my country of course, and it's more or less fine too from anywhere in Europe... But I think it's rather just the farness: for example my download is always slow and not stable when I'm downloading anything from FileFront...

But anyway it's always worth to wait, because the hosted stuff are really cool, they worth the download... :)

I'm sorry to inform You about the above issue, but this is the case: the server isn't running for more than a week now. That means it's not possible to upload, but this is the smaller problem. The bigger problem is that now everything what was uploaded is temporarily not available, so You're getting here dead-links only...

I'm sorry about the inconvenience (WOW, I could write this down correctly without any help :D), I hope the server is going to be back soon... :)

Rémlátó presented something interesting for me today: "AF-Painless-Way" (http://tombraider.central-game.net/sys/painkiller/remlato/AF_painless_way.avi) - click it! It's possible to get back onto the ladder after accessing the last Secret. This can be very useful when You've got everything so far and only the Secret remained untouched..then after getting the Secret, You have Your 5-Stars. Then You can get back to the ladder and You can reach the ground with no problem, and then You can take the end... It seems to be very easy on the video...

I also have to mention that there's another possible way to go down with "no scratch"..Artas, Cyody and I also found that. I found that when I recorded a clip for my E#3 video, though I made mistakes and I couldn't go down unscratched, but I knew it's a "no scratch" way. Later Cyody recorded this way successfully (without knowing about my recorded clip), and now Artas did that too (without knowing about our recorded clips)..this is amusing... :D Watch that two videos below...

As You probably already noticed, none of the download-links are working recently. The server's motherboard died last week and now it's fixed and back in Budapest again, but it's still not completely working. Hopefully this is going to be solved very soon again. BTW, the uploaded stuff (around 7 GB now) is in safe, that isn't damaged, fortunately...

Guys, I need Your help now a bit... I've got some responses - for example from Cyody and Kalme - about very slow downloading-speeds from the server. Like DLs at 2K to 10K only, sometimes 40K maximum. It's fine here from my PC though...

Now I'd like to ask You to test this a bit: just select anything to download from the server and report the download-speed, that is all. When You have the time and mood, etc., and You don't need to wait till the download finishes, just wait for about a minute maximum...

Less than 1kb/s in the UK. An estimated 32 hours to download your Tower vid zip :eek: .

I got that beat. About 0.8 kb/sec for tower vid (40+ hours) then it stopped around 32kb loaded. Tried loony park and download was about the same but it stopped after about 48kb.

Guys, thanks for the tests/replies! Cyody also told me that the upload works fine with full speed. But it seems, this is somehow an "x-file": ThoSi (my Brother-in-law who owns the server) told me that He doesn't know what may cause the problems, but the download rate drops sometimes even in Hungary from some places...

I can't promise anything now, I'm just hoping this will be solved somehow in the near future. The server stores a few gigabytes of PK-stuff today and of course I don't want it to be wasted...

I have GOOD news, if this is true. Cyody today mailed me and informed me about He tried and could download at full speed from the server recently. This means it's available again from abroad too: 7-8 GiB of shared PK-stuff, more can be shared if anyone needs a mirror, and I don't need to use the crappy ImageShack-service from now. Sounds good to us... Anyway I have no clue about what happened (ThoSi or the provider changed something), but it should work now again...

I'd like to ask You All now to test the server: just try to start downloading anything. I'd like to know it works not only from Hungary and Austria but from anywhere at least in Europe...

Pool, if You think it logically, there are about 3 arguments against what You thought...
1. It always worked for me from here, I could download with no problem and my uploaded pictures appeared for me always. And I didn't travel to abroad to test the download-speed, so I could count only on someone from abroad about testing it and noticing me (us) if it works or not...
2. Secondly, the server is NOT mine and I have NO access for it..writing this down for the 998th time already. :) I only have some webspace on one of the HDDs in the server, but I don't know about maintenances and changes what the Owner and/or Provider do on the server and on its network...
3. If I hear any news about the server what is important for us, the first thing I do is posting about it here. Like I did this time. So You said it was good again about 1 month ago, but I didn't post anything, so You could've been thought I didn't know about it (again, I'm from Hungary, it always worked here fine)... :)

So, please let me know if there are serious problems with downloading from abroad, about corrupted files, about anything what may be important. Anytime. Very much appreciated... :)
