C1L3_korzenie.CItem error

Hi guyz. i was playing painkiller for like 1 hour and after that i quitted. After like 10 minutes, i launched painkiller again and was going to play 3 mission (catacombs). But when the game started loading, it blooomed with an error and falled on the desktop. The error looks like this.

[string".. /data/lscripts/templates/items/c1l3_korzenie.citem"]:1: invalid control char near ´char(1)´ press retry to debug.

I pressed retry, but the painkiller was quitted automaticaly. I tried like 10 times later but nothing :(. PLeeeasseee guyyyz heeelp !

WEll yeah uh eh. It worked till the end of the loading. I walked like 2 metres and after 2 seconds the computer freezed, no monitor output, but the harddisk was still workin. I waited like 10 minutes but nothing happened so i restarted the computer. after restart half of my settings were screwed up ... (i know what will i do all the Christmas eve)... what to do with it please?:eek:

Nope...here are some threads around that same failure...and all used this zip and solved the problem.
These are the original files from your pak-files.

We never find the reason why some have trouble with this stuff...some had have BlackEdition...some have gotten after patching.

Your "hang up" wasn't caused by the zip....you can delete all files and folders inside your Data folder...but only those from the zip !!!

What's your version of PK?

I believe that your freezings are caused by other problems...
- by the GPU?...what kind of graphic card you own?
- by the advanced settings, e.g. no shadows, bloom, coronas, lightning, warp
(you can compare the consequences of those effects on my page (sign below - 6. link))

My graphic card is ATi radeon 9100 with latest drivers. Advanced settings are those who were basicly there.

1.) Have U just tryed to load the last quicksave or older quicksaves too?
2.) Have U tryed a older autosave too?
3.) Have U tryed to replay the whole level?

What's your version of PK?

Your ATI 9100 is based on the same hardware as the ATI 8500, therefore you've to disable all effects coming with patch 1.61 (if you've patched or if you own BooH)

And some more detailed informations about your hardware would be appreciated...
