Angdark Video - Is that possible?

I just watched a video by Shadow and Angdark. Some pretty super human jumps by Angdark. Brought up some questions I hope someone can help me with so I don't feel so useless.

Angdark made some jumps on Cursed that I hit the top of the map on and he seems to have hit an invisible ceiling on Illuminati I don't hit.

Have maps changed over time raising and lowering their tops that allow or limit jumping heights? (don't know the date of their video).

Angdark also covered some distances with nade/RJ that seem unbelievably high.

Has the nade/RJ power/height been adjusted over time also? I am not a great jumper but I can't get anywhere close to what I saw in that video. He clears jumps I can't make with a lot of room to spare.

He also dropped nades that rolled about 2 steps without bouncing and he flew up and forward from a standing start beyond anything deamonly possible.

I tried to do a search on "Angdark" but all I come up with is him being banned all over for hacking on FEAR. Not sure if that has anything to do with how well he jumped or if it is even the same guy.

The video I saw is on Ozzy's mexicanpainkiller.com web site. Beware, for me anyway, Ozzy's video page takes a looong time to load (about 3-5 mins and I have a good connection).

Any light anyone can shed on this would be a help. I spent a few hours on Cursed trying to reach some places only to figure out I'm bumping into an invisible ceiling. And then I see the video... Help.

Oh, my bad. I'm new to this party so I assumed everyone here has seen everything already.

The video is on MEXICANPAINKILLER (http://www.mexicanpainkiller.com) but I'll see if I can get it on filefront.

Is there a reason to use Filefront over other services? I haven't used many so not sure what and why.

You don't remember every detail about that video after 1 1/2 years?:)

I'm really curious about the nade drop and especially the height and distance covered by the nade/RJ tricks. Many of the jumps look normal but those few: WOW. Also the map ceilings. Seem to change over time.

The video was recorded during 1.35 PK-version or earlyer maybe. Angdark used alot of forwardrocketjumps and also a geometrybug in Forest ... where he seem to hang in the air ... Forest never was a MP map, only SP ... "unlocked" by shadow for MP first.

Also fun to see the chat ... neoXs chickend out (admin of polands nr.1 pk-fanpage STILL!!!).

It was recorded live from my view as spectator with FRAPS on a onlineserver in 1.35 or older version, means old netcode. :cool:

I only made this jump once in 1.64 but i had to bunnyhopp to gain speed ... and it took ages. :D

Nice. Can't see how you can drop nades like that. It is like putting them down gently with your hand.

Yes that was the old netcode, now U cant do this. I checked the date when my file was created = may 28th 2004 ... :eek: !!!
So that was 1.00 PK or maybe 1.15. Now its almost impossible to put grenades down like this.

No PeTja, no you, but Angdark. In the LScripts.pak file there are the weapon and munitions functions, so I think that there are also the configurations regarding the most powerful explosions...

Angdark made this video in october 2004 (i already posted this) !!!
And he isnt anymore playing PK and also not posting in this forum (for years now).

If U wanna have a LScript from 1.00 = better install the game 1.00 and then take a look into the files.

I see no reason why i should add U to my contacts, sorry.

Thanks all. I have my answers. Old school PK could do some crazy stuff. Currently we are limited (compared to the older stuff). I can get back to finishing my 2nd video without worrying about stuff that can't possibly be done anymore.
