Love the game

hi, just downloaded the beta and must say this game looks amazing. The idea of it aswell is i find really different to other space strategy's with the genes and biological ships.

shame there isnt many people looking at this game or on the beta server but i hope it does it well. im hoping to make a fansite for it (currently do www.eeplanet.net for empire earth) but must say im looking for forward for the release.

BETA FEEDBACK

+ Graphics on this look brillant and really work well with the shaders.

+ FPS seems quite stable to me especially for a strategy game.

+ Love the look of the planets and asteriods

- The pop cap is very restricted and i would suggest increasing it or when you capture a new base it supports more then 4 maintenance units. This will make players more forward in invading bases and give the person who dares a bigger advantage.

- I would like to see maybe some formations used in this. For example when using the mother ship and 4 fighter ships, make a formation that puts the fighters in front or around the mothership to protect it etc. Maybe use formations to evade different genes? This would really up the strategy of the game.

- The negotation screen shows all the computers in one colour (white) so its difficult to figure out which one youre trading/allying with. Simply the colour of the computer should be the colour on the negotation screen

- Mother Ship cant seem to draw blood from dead carcasses.

- I dont really see the point of 'The Patrol' since they dont seem to do anything at all. Maybe they will in the actual game, i dont know.

- Would be nice if ships could move in depth from up to down.

- I know its only the beta, but it would be good for multiplayer if there was more play modes than deathmatch.
