Hello,
First off I'd just like to say that this game is fantastic. I've participated in the beta of a couple games in my time and none have been as...Complete...as this one is BRAVO!!
The graphics engine is fantastic, everything looks beautiful. Well drawn ship models and galactic scenery makes for an even better playing experience. Also the Gene idea is incredible, really puts Homeworld to shame, keep it up!
now on to the comments/concerns
1. Im not sure if this is an issue with me alone because I use the Alienware Dock (windows theme changer..i belive it is powered by Windocs) but when I launch the game, my taskbar stays visible and the bottom part of the game gets cut off, i have to manually make my taskbar go away then the game resizes to full screen however the bottom of the game continuously flickers allowing me to see, on occasion, my desktop.
2. Tutorial 3 - the bases doesnt end, it tells me that it is over and all I need to do is either invade or destroy the last Defiance station which I chose to destroy and nothing happens, the game just keeps playing...are you supposed to manually exit? and upon manually exiting i receive an objective from the girl telling me to build another resevoir?
3. Once the game has launched to the main menu I have to click around the screen in numerous places before any of the buttons become active, its like the program isnt sure I have it maximized?
other than those small programs the game runs great! no lag issues, i have very high framerate, and no load times which is just sweet..awesome job guys cant wait for more updates and the full version!
