View Full Version : Crashes on the level with the 'train'.

This is a fresh install, straight off the CD's.
I manage to get to the bit where the "train" crashes, and I kill all of the enemies; but as soon as I step foot near the next 'quick save' area, my game crashes.
What's up with that? Anyone have any ideas?
From looking around, it appears I'm not the only one with this problem.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Have U tryed to reload a pre-pre-saved game?

All the saved games (after I kill the monsters) don't work... It does not work by using the menu save, nor the checkpoint save.
I can bypass it by jumping over them, but that's a right nuisance.
I've been using the Haste cheat, if that's important at all?
As well as All Weapons, Bodies stay, and Decals stay.

If U dont try to load older savegames from a previous gameversion (patched the game after it?) ... it could be possible that PowerMad messed up Ur savegames. Wich version is Ur game?

Powermad? What's that?
My version is whatever is straight off of the discs-- Why would I want to load a game that was before the error occurs? Will I be stuck on this level forever? I cannot get past it, as the savegame crashes.
Whenever I load the game, it crashes.
Has it got anything to do with the 'pkhaste' cheat?
or pkweapons?
or what?
I really need to get past this level (Snowy Bridge), and I can't!! Because the load/save game function DOES NOT WORK

Try what PeTjA said...
Load an older save-point (one before that mentioned from you above) and play again to this crash point...
Sometimes you can get a corrupted save, especially if you save in Daemon-mode or cards in using...

I tried that, it still happens.
It's only occasional, however.. So no worries, I'm sure I can suffer it crashing occasionally.
