Game Runs In Super Slow Motion

I recently purchased Pain Killer Gold Edition for PC.

When I try to play, it is in SUPER Slow Motion. I turned all the video and sound options to their absolute minimums, "Signed the pact," and it hardly makes any difference.

I was looking at some other threads, and noticed that my hardware is superior to someone who claims that painkiller plays way too FAST on their computer. That doesn't make much sense to me.

I have:

Intel Pentium 4 (2.53 GHz)
1 GB Ram
Windows XP Professional
NVidia GeForce FX 5200 (256 mb memory)

These specs well surpass the minimum requirements, and I'm still in super slo-mo. (I mean really slow, like bullet-time.)

I updated all my drivers, and I tried rebooting in selective start up mode with all the background apps disabled. Still super-slo-mo.

Also, I just got finished playing Half Life 2 Episode 1, and I had no performance issues.

Any help?
