Is there any way to make the harvester units begin harvesting from the next closest blood supply once the current one has run out? I don't know how often this situation comes up but I've been noticing a trend of groupings of dead ships serving as sort of resource fields, but its kind of annoying having to switch them to another ship whenever the first one runs out because they're now just kind of floating there doing nothing /=.

For now you can issue a queued harvest order to resource collector ship by selecting resource collector and then clicking on any carcass you wish to harvest with the right mouse button while you holding SHIFT key. This way when harvester finishes one carcass he will continue to other etc. This is not what you want but it’s a closest solution for yours ‘problem’.

Well yeah that works. I just find it odd that they wouldn't just go for the next resource after finishing one off. It's possible the small grouping of ship thing is only used in the first few mission. the rest seem to have an actual base which would make it kind of pointless. would still be kinda nice to have there though.

Aye I agree it would be handy, but only if within a limited radius. I'd hate to see my harvesters auto running out to the fringe of my bases sight radius trying to harvest carcasses and get whacked by an incoming enemy fleet.

Well yeah obviously you would want it to have a limited area so it didn't hop across the universe to harvest blood =p

some sort of AI improvement in future patches is recommened
