I wonder how many people will recognize me.
Anyways, recently I got my computer upgraded, so I decided to go through Painkiller with super-hot graphics. However, during the catacombs mission, I was killed during the second to last part where all these enemies come running at you and try to kill you, yada yada.
When I loaded up the checkpoint, the game crashed, and I got a "Painkiller has encountered a problem and has to close" error. I found this odd.
I opened up the game again, tried to run it again...same thing.
I tried opening previous checkpoints, and the previous THREE checkpoints gave me the same error. The fourth loaded fine.
What's going on here?
Specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6400 (2.13 Ghz)
nVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS
2 GB of RAM
Windows XP with SP2
It's not overheating, I have 6 freaking fans in there. My power supply is sufficient (450 watts, I believe), so I think it's a problem with the game.
