shadow ruins

Hi Everyone,


I'm stuck in the shadow ruins on the water jump area with the four pilars I can't seem to be able to jump across without hitting the water. I heard you could try using the celestrial of time crystal but I still can't do it.... can anyone please help me?????????? oh I have v1.4

save before entering the pool area. the proper sequence for the platforms going up/down happens the 1st time.
head over to the right and as the last platform goes down, use the crystal of time to slow time and start running and jumping.
take each platform jump at a 45% angle and jump as soon as possible for the next platform.
save after u get successfully across.
fyi, don't leave the shadow ruins until u have done everything in the shadow ruins. U can NOT re-enter the shadow ruins after u leave them.

:rolleyes: I followed the suggestions mention in the walk-through... The proper sequence ran through the first time, after that the platform move semi-randomly...

A good suugetion (also from the walk-through) Is to go bakc into Kingston's chamber and chill for a bit - waiting for the platforms to reset themsleves If enough time has elapsed they will do so that upon re-entry to the water-jumping room move to the far east corner and take each platform jump at a 45% angle and jump as soon as possible for the next platform.

BTW: I did not use the crystal of time and managed to get through...
