Ok, i understand this is a bit old and there hasnt been any real activity, but leave it to me to liven it up again. I recently bought Obscure, it wasnt expensive so im not all that upset, but it's eating away at me that i can't play.
I install the game, no problem. I reboot like it says, no problem. I open the game, go to hit "new Game" and it goes to the difficulty selection. No matter what i choose, it sticks.. i cannot go back, nor can i progress...
I alt+tab and hard kill the program, and see if there's a patch, i saw there was one. I download and go to install. It tells me that i have a 1152 error and cannot write to the temp file. I did check, and i can infact write, when i try to manually install the files, it says that it is corrupt, Every patch ive downloaded. Has been corrupt. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing works.

2GB Ram
Nvidia 7300 LE
Direct X 9.0c latest
latest Java *if that even matters here*
If anyone can shed some light, i'd be very appriciative. I also would love to give this game a try... im a horror junkie
