Just saw at dlh where a Japanese patch for DL1.4 was released!!!? Surely it was by a private group!

Could just be added localization by the local publisher.
I heard that Heuristic Park went belly-up ... anyone confirm / deny?

Yes, Heuristic went down. But anyway Dreamcatcher plans a Dungeon Lords 2 in 2008/2009.

What a joke! Dreamcatcher was bought out. Dreamcatcher will NOT come out with DL 2 because Dreamcatcher is not a developer. They used to be a publisher and now they are merely a subdivision of another publisher. Publishers do not develope (create) games, they publish (distribute) games.

Yeah, I didnt say that they actually develop it by themselves or that they have already a developer for it. But its a fact that the management of Dreamcatcher and the company who recently bought Dreamcatcher are planning a Dungeon Lords 2. Believe me or not but its true.

I think you're confusing a DL2 with JoWood's announcement that they may port DL to consoles.
