Stuck at the beginning

Went to the Cylon/Borg world, visited the tanker and took over the space station, defeating 2 small scout ships in the process. Scooted out to the tanker to plant the explosives and ran back to hide in the cloud. Killed the four enemy ships that came for me after the tanker exploded.

It says it wants me to *upgrade* the genetics lab ship, before I can leave this chapter. I have no earthly idea how to do it. Tried pressing all buttons, using all different weapons in weapon slots, etc. I am stuck in this chapter and don't know the simple way to simply move on now that I have completed all goals.

Anyone help me with this simple, but difficult problem?

You should have a new icon in the orders panel. Click on it and in about two minutes it will be upgraded.
