any thing on windows vista and painkiller?i cant get it stable and ive tried every setting and just cant seem to slow it down,its like painkiller on speed...lol

Thanks for replying,Its to fast more or less unstable using vista,even at the slowest settings,was just wondering if its vista or just painkiller being older.im using a amd duel core athlon 5000 +with vista,i got a patch for it and its stable now but lol its slow.but works well.anything other than the patch that u might know i can do to it?just a thought....one thing ive noticed vista has alot of processes running like twice that of xp.i also have a 8500 gt 512 nvidia card which isnt the greatest....drivers are all up to date.oh and 3.5 gigs mem,2 320 ata hd's with raid but i dont have it configured yet....

Thanks for the help, most of those are for xp, so they say.
The italian one supposably is for vista and seems to be working well, the amd optimizer works but it gives you a burst or speed every few seconds ... lol so thats out.
Least i can play now. Thanks alot for the info ...
