View Full Version : Problem with patch GenesisRisingPatch_US_CD_1.031_1.044

I have the US version. I installed the patch GenesisRisingPatch_US_CD_1.02_1.044 with no errors. I tried to install the patch GenesisRisingPatch_US_CD_1.031_1.044 and it said "Nothing to patch! Reason: No valid patch found." I have read the form about a 1.04 patch being released, but it was several days late on 7/4/2007, was just curious if this was still being worked on? But my main question is how do I apply patch 1.031_1.044?

I have noticed that the dates are the same, but the time and size is different, for the two patches:

GensisRisingPatch_US_CD_1.02_1.044.exe size: 8,164 KB, Date: 6/21/2007 at 8:41 AM

GensisRisingPatch_US_CD_1.031_1.044.exe size: 2,735 KB, Date 6/21/2007 at 8:49

Didn't you noticed that the two patches actualize your game to the same version?
One is for whose have the 1.02 version and the other is for whose have actualized previously to the 1.031 version.

Ah I see. It was not specific. Usually when there is 2 different patch numbers and the instructions state to install the other one usually the 2nd patch does not contain the previous patch data. So you have to patch the first one then the second one. Those instructions could be a little more clear.

If you have never patched the game before, use only the 1.02 - 1.044 patch; it contains all the fixes/add-ons. If you already patched the game to version 1.031, please use the other patch 1.031 - 1.044. You can not apply both.
