quest problems

i took my single player character to a lan game then tried to take it back it made me start from the begining with all my items. when i get to the point i need to get the orders from the king to gget out of the first town he doesnt give me anything and just says his orders are for me to go to the elven city and talk to some mage. the guards however wont let me out...

any ideas??

Yep this game is very bugy, It especially wasn't designed for replaying the same char. If you know it isn't because of something you forgot to do then try starting again and jsut rushing to that point. (before clollectors edition you had to trick the game into even letting you do this, they just threw in the ability to do it without any technical changes... hence several bugs...)

I encountered several show stopping issues when switching who was the host in a LAN game, it tends to clear items from your inventory but not the completed quest values and thus leaves a disfunctional character/game.

Nu Nu Nu.... You simply cannot go from single to lan, or from lan to single and expect it to work. No games I know of allows this :cool:
