I installed all the patches for painkiller, now its asking for the cd again, is there a patch for this, I had a nocd patch for the original but can't find it.
I just built my first pc, but have no cd player now, I have to get a sata cd player for my pc. Thanks

You can't use the old nocd-patch because you'd downgrade PK in some parts. There was, can't remember exactly, a new nocd made by Fleabay, posted somewhere in the technical section but maybe deleted...

Start-up CD: You must have CD 1 in your CD/DVD-ROM drive to start
Painkiller. (since Version 1.35...)
...you know? You could mount the CD with Daemon-Tools.

Heck, the "no cd" crack was a good thing, it was posted by fleabay in general discussion, and no one had problems with it, but the mentaly ill petja deleted the thread and treated fleabay badly.

At some now long time ago, i also upgraded Painkiller HGAH to 1.35 after that it kept asking me a cd even if a had the cd placed.

The 1.35 patch was downloaded from gamershell.

I know a "no cd" patch works for 1.64, but i can't tell about 1.35...
