Has technical support not yet been implemented for this game? I've opened tickets, but I've had to use other game titles in order to do so, since the drop down box doesnt have SKC as an option yet. After not hearing back on my issue, I emailed the webmaster, I got a reply, but only to tell me that I needed to direct my technical questions to the proper people, namely the people I've already sent it to, under the false game title workaround.

seems strange that its so hard to get help with this game without paying for a long distance call. I ended up using an older computer of mine since I couldnt get it to work on my newer laptop.

I dont know how everyone else is doing, but I'm having a hard time with the very first human campaign, "Trials". I've tried it three times and i keep getting overwhelmed very early on by the enemy. I must be missing some critical component to city & army building.

Also, did anyone else have trouble with the tutorial? I could only play up to the part where it tells you to attack the city north of you. I take my army up there, but the city is blocked by a row of pillars. My guys can shoot at the barracks, through the pillars, but that's it. I can't attack the pillars, nor can I find any way around them on the map, so i just have to give up. Maybe this is why i'm having such trouble with the first campaign, because i missed important stuff in the tutorial?

I got overwhelmed in trials my first two times playing it as well. Then I just copied what the computer did but did it better. Here's what I did to get past it:
Plop down 2 mines and a farm right away. Upgrade both mines to their maximum(you can upgrade by selecting the mine and clicking the research button in the bottom right. You have to upgrade each mine individually). You want lots of gold flowing in. Also, starting training about 5 spearmen right away. They are your cheapest units. Next, plop down a temple and train 3 priests. Research the heal ability in the temple(its the blue button on the bottom when the temple is selected). Promote all 3 priests to level 2(its the little crown icon in the lower right), so they can use heal. train a few more spearmen as your money allows. If your food ever starts going down, upgrade your farm and/or build a second farm. I didn't even bother making a barracks in trials. Your spearmen garrison your city by default. to Empty the garrison, select the city and right click somewhere. I sent an army of 3 priests and about 7-10 spearmen to attack the nearest village. Once the enemies popped out I slaughtered them and continued to attack the village. The key to defeating the enemies is the priests. Keep them near your spearmen and click heal(the little red icon) whenever they start taking damage. It sucks there is no autocast, so you have to continually rotate through your 3 priests to keep healing as you take damage. Also, if 1 spearmen is taking a lot more damage than the rest of your army and your priests are running low on mana, just click on the weak unit and rotate him to the back of your army. Once the village is yours, DON'T repair it. It costs too much gold and you get almost no benefit from repairing it. Instead, plop down a mine by the village and upgrade it. Villages only allow you to build 1 mine max so you can only build one more. Also, upgrade your spearmen if you have extra reputation. I try to upgrade all of my spearmen to at least level 3 because they get ranged ability at that level. But upgrade your priests first, its more important. I took maybe 3-4 villages before attacking the enemy. With my trusty level 3 spearmen plus 3 priests the enemy was no harder to kill then the neutral troops. You probably want to keep adding more spearmen as your army cap and gold increase. STAY AWAY from the demon hunter and tanebrae camps. They kicked my ***. So basically I just massed spearmen and priests and leveled them up.

Similar strategy for the second mission. There are 2 enemies here, but they spend most of their time attacking each other. I took the 2 closest villages and then just got big, occasionally fending off an enemy raid or going demon hunting. One I was big enough to kill both of them, I attacked the weaker of the 2 enemies, then the other one. Not too bad.

It got a little trickier in the third mission. Only 2 enemies, but you are basically in the middle of them and they spent more time attacking you then each other. I tried a repeat of my previous strategy but by the time I was attacking my third village, one enemy hit my army and the other enemy took my 2 defenseless villages. I restarted and this time only grabbed one village. Then I just massed up an army and stayed on the defensive for awhile. I got bored so build a tanebrae camp and started training some of those guys. They have cool rain of fire spells but are really expensive and you can only train 3 of them. Similar story with the demon hunters, they are tough but very expensive. I ended up modifying my strategy and got 1 huge army of like 20 spearmen and 4 priests, then after I took 2 more villages I trained another army of 20 spearmen and 4 priests. That way I could fight on both fronts at once. You can upgrade your villages to cities. Its expensive at 250 gold and 100 reputation, but your troop cap is raised by 10 and you can plop down a second mine.

In the fourth mission now. I killed the 2 enemies, but the mission didn't end. Not sure if I am supposed to kill all the neutrals or what. God I hope that's not the case, their are so many of them.

I haven't done the tutorial yet so can't answer your question on that one...

i tried the tutorial again and got stuck at the same spot. It's just bugged and I guess they never fixed it. thanks for the walkthrough on mission 1. I actually tried it several times again last night and found out that the best way to deal with this particular mission is to attack the enemy the moment you start the game - 2 mines, 2 farms, temple, tomb, heal research, 3 priests to level 2, 5 royal guards and take the enemy out. they weren't prepared at all. I took down just their attached buildings and left their city alone. then I cleared the map and took over everything, thinking that I'd get extra bonuses or something, but it turned out to be just a waste of time. it was pretty fun though. :)

kublikhan, I got the same problems when I killed all the enemies, the game didn't end. Now i'm stuck. I played all possible missions of the humans... I hope there will be a patch out soon.
