David Letterman seriously ill

Word has it that the reason the Tonight Show is re-run episodes nearly always is Mr Letterman is having serious complications from his quad bypass surgery 9 years ago. Since this past Christmas, the show is in its second round of re-runs due to Letterman's illness.

Let's hope he can weatherthrough ... perhaps he is learning that you can't really go through without changing some things.

I haven't watched Dave in a while so didn't know what was going on. Thanks for the info. I had no idea he was having problems and I hope he can get through it.

Word must have gotten around because suddenly the Tonight Show is all new episodes at the Ed Sullivan Theater. However, something still isn't right because Mr. Letterman has a lingering irritation in his throat that he's trying to mask. I imagine the guy is likely trying to honor his contract with CBS.
