First of all, the rocket launcher is NOT a guided missle. It's like the sniper rifle: where you aim it, it either hits or misses. Therefore you have to make maximum useage of the missles that you have. More than once I ran out of missles. The strategy is to shoot when the helicopter is turning around and mainly coming toward you. When you have the helicopter sited, hold the fire button down to get a maximum rate of fire. Shoot thru the smoke and shot blasts as long as you feel the helicopter is still on target. Your best chance of keeping it on target is when it is coming straight at you. The helicopter machine gun is a problem but when you see it fire it's rockets, it's time to move. Work your way toward the pit where the helicopter will eventually crash. Once the helicopter blows up the trench and seals it off near the life support bag and extra rockets, you are very close to shooting the helicopter down. Secondly, when the helicopter launches it's rockets, it never seems to be in the same spot two times in a row. Therefore keep moving to the area that just received the incoming.
