happy happy joy joy!
I just wanted to mention that the folks at DC/4X mailed me a savedgame file in less than one day...that "fixed" my somehow-corrupt saved-game,and the game plays fine again,as it did for the first 2 1/2 levels.
basically,my game crashed after blowing up the tank in level 3-3...each time no matter how I got to the townsquare area.
The 4x person mentioned that it may have been because I had been making use of a trainer. I needed it (the trainer)from time to time...as we all know this game is SOOO hard (!),but didnt realize it had corrputed my game. And the game was running fine UNTIL i used the trainer. So anyone thinking twice of using the trainer (only one available, a +3 trainer)...DONT!!!!
The game rocks as it is and I believe if I hadnt used the trainer my game would have continued to rock on just fine.
