I've had nothing but a great experience with this game (and other DC games) until level 3-6 of THIS game. NOW THE GAME WONT PLAY AT ALL!
I've installed the patch,uninstalled it,uninstalled and reinstalled the game and kept my saved games....every time I get to a certain point to continue level 3-6,the game quickly boots me to desktop.
The game has played great up until now.
***Level-wise,I have mined out the tank in the square and am running around aimlessly. every time I head to the area where I THINK the other tank is (that I have to supposedly lead into the square to blow it up),the game crashes(quits) to desktop when I go around a certain corner. every time. tried a new load game,got to this point,(heading to chemical plant)...same thing. again,no problems running game until now.****
system:
regular microsoft wheel mouse;no connected USB ports.
running winME
dell P-3 1ghz
256 mb ram
NVid GF 2
SBLIve Value
latest official drivers;all defragged and scandisked. No background programs running.
I've even tried running game at this point with low-res....same crash at same place...and no,my CD isnt scratched...Why is it crashing now?? My system is updated and all of a sudden the game doesnt play anymore? It's too late to bring this back,and as a loyal DC buyer (and I mean loyal) I would appreciate a response. Sending you my system error log would be a *****. please respond..Thanks.
