Error: Unable to load Engine graphic library

This game was running great,I even completed it...Went to play it today and now get that error.....
I did reinstall windows,but then I uninstalled the game and reinstalled still no dice...Wtf WOULD CAUSE THIS PROBLEM?
Excellent game BTW...
Win98SE Athlon 1900+ Nvidia 4200 512MB ram
For the life of me I cannot figure out why it would stop working all of a sudden.

If you reinstall windows it normally installs an earlier version of DirectX. Download the lastest version of DirectX (9C) and it should fix your problem.
This is for Windows 98SE

well I hope he hasn't been waiting since 2002 for an answer :) but its good to know that there are others who are helpful when possible on these boards
