OK, Its a good game, i can say that much, however, it does have some flaws (Some especially fetal) that could use a fixing
Adjustable Ship limits: Ok, im a hardcore player that likes to build billions of fleets, yet the limits "limit" me to small strike squads
Perhaps the limits could be adjustable in a type-in like manner on the multiplayer screen
I do agree that the AI's attack tactics simply suck right now, they just build a battleship and throw it at u nonstop
Map editor: Ok, i like to make my own maps, sometimes i even like to create a campaign, from your response you already had a map editor but you were unsure how/if your going to distribute it
My response: Distribute it as is, maybe make it a bit more user friendly (if it isnt already) BUT in no way nerf it. As i repeat this, in NO Way nerf the editor.
Modding: This is what makes a game live a long time, im also a modder as well, Since you guys already plan to release modding tools i comment only on the details
Will planets/wormholes/asteroids/placable wreakage be modifyable (i really stress that this would be useless if map editing wasnt included, plus, this ability would be needed for a planned campaign)
About the planets, If modifyable, will you be able to create your own Planettypes/Planetsize (maybe an asteroid-planet with incredibly low population limit and a unnatural supergiant planet with huge amounts of population, plus, im thinking of modding in "Populatable installations")
About the ships: How modifyable will they be, perhaps everything, abilities, etc. etc. etc.
What about races? Will they be creatable? Will technologies be able to be added?
I already know ships can already be added to a tech tree
One thing nags me: That Neutral Wreakage Recycler, As far as i know its a solution to prevent overcluttering of wreakage, But is there any fluff/Story behind it? One thing came to mind, what about Neutral planets? Curious, yes
