Hit Point on Opponents

Any chance we will know when we can finally kill a biggie? I've been hitting via everything but a train the Elf elder (ok so I shouldn't have challenged the badie) but so far after a couple hours haven't made much progress. He's on a ledge above so ranged weapons are it. Bow, throwing knives and throwing star (ok so I'm not martial arts literate), have hit him repeatedly but so far I keep chugging healing potions and firing away.

You mean the archer guy? Just jump on the pillars to the last one, and stay there and beat on him until he dies. That was what I did on SP, and it worked well. But if you jump to the area where he is, he'll warp to the next ledge. It's a lot easier if you are a Celestial so you can beat on him with a powerful weapon.

You cant kill him, I even tried with a big weapon with my roommate over LAN. it didnt work.

You can kill every elder in the elder trial. My brother and i make sure to kill them when we go through because they aer all worth 400k+ exp. They seem to be invincible because they have an insane amount of HP. Just jump to the last pillar before the doorway and melee him to death. If he moves back and starts firing a bow at you, jump back one pillar and he'll move back to the door way.

You can kill elders 0_0. Holy sh*T, really me and my friend played and we beat that guy for hours we died 3 times or something then we went on with the mission.

Wow... that sucks. I didn't die once by myself. I kept hitting him over and over so he couldn't hit me at all. *looks evil* Then I killed the Banshee and Elder Master the same way.

Only problem is I can't get past the first pillar, too long a jump. If I could that, would be the ticket.

Try running past the edge a little? It seems to give you a wide berth to move on so you don't fall off.

One way that takes a while is to find a spot near the fallen pillar and ue a bow on him until he dies. He never shot back at me, but it did take about an hour to kill him at 3 - 5 points per hit.
