Favourite Game Theme Tunes

I'm playing SiN:Emergence at the moment. It has a very catchy and professional theme song, probably good enough for cinema. It got me thinking about my favourite game theme tunes. I don't mean in-game music (for which PK would be a strong contender) but the opening music during the intro or loading.

I thought it was only fair to split it into the 'old days' of synthesised themes and nowadays when we all have enough disk space for major orchestral concertos .

Of the synth variety, the original Deus Ex almost took it but Duke Nukem 3D just beat it. It's just right for Duke's mix of humour and action.

Fully orchestrated, SiN:Emergence was close but NOLF 2 took it. The theme is a perfect parody of 60's super-spy movies (and thanks to the "How old" thread in 'General', I know there are a few of you out there who remember them ).

I love the theme song for the original Unreal.
But then again, I'm having a bit of a problem understanding the term "theme song". Is it the song in the intro or in the main menu, or something else?

I would say CZ is my favorite.
but then again it might just be the fact that i would hear it at least once a day for about a year of my life

btw this isnt really a theme song, but the DM_Cursed music is awsome
