viewing the disk in chapter 1

i cannot leave the bedroom they are in when you first start the game does anyone know how to play the disk cuz i have clicked and tried everything i can think of...

First you need to unwrap the cop's gift. Open your Inventory and double click on the package.

The package will disappear and a disc will now be in your inventory. Click on the disc and drag it out of the inventory.

Move the disc over the DVD player (next to the TV) until you find the hotspot with 'gears'.

right click, and the disc will play.
