Listen, Ivan is the first DC staff person, that started cooperating with the community the way it needs to be. Bgaum, perhaps, had good intentions, and wanted to help us, but no real effort was done.. I am glad that we at least have someone..

As far as PKR goes, i am shocked - so far reading the forums and reviews i am getting the impression that it is even worse than Overdose - that's why i always buy games some 3 or 6 months after they are released, when enuogh feedback and patching is done....

That is, if i buy games at all - Painkiller HGAH and Painkiller BOOH were exceptions - i have bought them respectively 4 and 2 times, this much purchase never had happened with any other game.. But if PKR will remain that bad as it is now, i might just get it from a torrent just to see how bad it is with my own eyes.

I can usually handle a buggy game & wait for fixes but saying there's 3 chapters & ONLY getting 1 is what's REALLY PISSING ME OFF.It basically says that i HAVE to wait & wait till it's all fixed & YET it will be a short play through once it's FULLY fixed.
"IF" the coop becomes what it was supposed to be then there might be more play time but when the news is out that this feels like an "alpha" not to many ppl will be playing MP.
Few online servers just reminds me of how a game dies quickly & it's best to avoid getting attached to MP if you know the out come.
SP replayability in it's current form is BS, GIVE ME MY 3 chapters & i'll SHUT my keyboard up & don't tell me there are "secrets" & secrets of secrets, bah !!

Another thing is that they should have used 1 of the better lvl's as a 1st lvl to get your attention to play more. The beggining of the game just seemed sortof like a pk1 rebuild thrown in there as filler.

If SP had 3 chapters & coop was functional with a few fixes needed then there prolly wouldn't be such a negative turn out.
Holding back the the true state of a game & it's content till it's sold isn't going to make allies.

Is this the last nail in the coffin?

As painkiiler fans we naturally want be to play as time goes by but at what price.

1. Overdose
MW really wanted the game to be good but things got ugly.
First DC didn't even know that JW was putting the game out!!!
Someone from DC came on the forum and said " we have nothing to do with this game" later to be proven wrong.

Rushed product
Overdose was pushed out the door so fast no had time to rethink or redo what was wrong with it.

promotional and sales
The day overdose was release I went to four stores only to find few copy's in each. this is not the way to sell games ( even downloads was nell)

Lack of backing the game.
Once the game was out thing changed fast. one or two patches then nothing.
Heck they shut down the forum and didn't tell the mod (ME)

Now does any of the stuff look familiar for PKR?

And if so, Who else will try to make a painkiller game.

NO ONE

My dear friends
I see the curtains are about to close and the last bit of dirt is falling on the painkiller coffin. RIP PK. R.I.P

1 thing i noticed is the BEST way to make the situation go away is CLOSE it DOWN.
In real life war it is called racial/religious genocide, kindof like what they called it in yugoslavia a decade ago & hitlers WWII.Point being is that if you want to stop the problem u HAVE to NUKE it/kill it/ OBLITERATE IT & closing a forum is usually the best way since you are paying to hear complaints.
OD forums shutting down is NO surprise, same with Hellgate forums shutting down.
If DC feels this game is DEAD then i wouldn't be surprised to see this PK part of the forum DELETED.
Most likely DC won't do that since pk & booh are still good games.

The most embarrasing thing here and in the PKR forums is how people are saying they knew about the bugs and bought it because it's Painkiller or because all products have bugs at release. It's that disgusting self defeatist attitude that makes garbage publishers like Dreamcatcher/JoWood release crap like this. Stop being idiots giving them your money, this way they'll learn people want finished products.

Well, I didn't buy it, I downloaded it from somewhere. If I beat a downloaded game, and the downloaded game is very good, I buy it if it's not so expensive. But for this PKR... I won't buy it in my life.
