anyone know if they xbox version is going to be backward compatible for 360

i have been trying to contact people about this at xbox for ever and never get any response. i will be pissed if it isnt because i dont have my regular xbox anymore. 360 was expensive, needed all the credit i could get towards so i traded my xbox in. i just REALLY want to know if its going to be backward compatible. i only got to play a little bit of painkiller at a friends house because my pc is crappy, but i LOVED it and have been waiting for this forever. also, anyone know if the future xbox game black will be backward compatible either.

I, too, would like to know if PK will be backward compatible. I don't have an x360 yet, or PK xbox for that matter, but I'll probably get them eventually.

I'm also hoping not only Black will be backward compatible, but Doom 3 and Doom3:RoE as well. (Ok, I'll through in Serious Sam on the list... yes the first one :P )

yea i want to know about the doom 3s also. i never got to finish doom 3 so i wont mind starting over on 360, and then checking out the expansion. its not like theres anything else to play on 360 anyway, ive played and beaten everything i want to play. im back to playing halo 2 online all the time. i just cant get a response from anyone anywhere through microsoft or anything about this. i just cant believe doom isnt yet, i mean c'mon, its freakin DOOM!
