seven games of the soul

I love this game! But, I'm stuck! I'm at book dials combination-I entered the colors of the rainbow exactly as suggested in the solution guide book. I have tried different degrees to line up on the right side of display and still the book doesn't open. What am I doing wrong? Did I do something in the past that prevents the book from opening? Someone please advise me. Thanks a million....
